The Chaloem Rattanakosin National Park is one of the smallest national parks in Thailand. It is also one of the quietest and in my mind most pleasant parks to visit.
There are food stalls at the admin centre which are sometimes open and sometimes not.

Kloofing, also known canyoneering, is a popular summer activity offered by Eden Adventures. After kitting-up we go boulder hopping and swimming down narrow canyons with lush indigenous forest on either side. For the brave there are always the optional jumps off the cliffs into the cola coloured water below.
Located on the Chidham Peninsular, within Chichester Harbour’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the 4 single storey cottages were converted from Cobnor Estate’s original farm buildings. The cottages are run by the estate that also includes a diversified farm and leisure activities.
All the cottages have a spacious open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room with controllable central heating and use solar PV and water heating to reduce our impact on the environment. There is parking available within the gravelled courtyard area, and some undercover parking too.
The gardens are landscaped and planted to ensure some colour throughout the year, with bird feeders outside each cottage attracting a good variety of birds.
An old Sussex barn provides indoor play space, with ping pong, skittles, table football and a selection of toddler toys.
Outside are acres of space and includes an outdoor play area. Access via a wheelchair is possible via a coastal path that follows the shoreline. This path passes our wetland reserve, great for bird watching during all the seasons, and then into private woods.
Exlore the Tsitsikamma on horseback and enjoy the spectacular views riding through the indigenous fynbos, local local wine farms and forest trails. Experienced guides accompany pointing out interesting plants and recounting stories regarding about the area, fauna and flora.
